The Girton Parents and Friends Association (GPFA) consists of a group of parents that meet on a monthly basis throughout the school year. Our meetings are open to all parents and friends and involve discussion of current and future school activities. Our meetings are also attended by representatives from the school, the Board, Friends of Performing Arts and the Friends of Junior school. Becoming a member of the GPFA is an opportunity to contribute to your child’s school. With a full executive committee, the workload is not onerous and involves a great group of people who spend equal amounts of time fundraising and holding social events.
Our next meeting is the annual general meeting. It will be held next Tuesday, 13th March at 5.30pm in the Morey Building (M07).
All executive committee positions will become vacant. Nominations are received and the election for the 2018 committee is conducted. The positions on the executive are;
- Vice President
- General committee member (2 positions).
General membership of the GPFA is open to all school families and friends, and a $1 fee registration fee is payable upon application.
