Girton Games: Learn to play Basketball

in Junior School News/Sport

Girton Games Learn to Play Basketball is a 4 week program where our young students from Prep to Grade 2 are introduced to the basic skills of Basketball while having a lot of fun. Our experienced coaches Ben Harvey, Indiana Faithfull, Tanner Rayner and Sam Beks are excited about teaching the basic skills of the game and making it an enjoyable experience for all age groups. The students are broken up into age groups and rotate around four stations all working on a different skill.

All participants receive their very own basketball to take home once the 4 week program is completed, a free ticket to a Bendigo Braves home game and a certificate of participation.

This program is a great way to get our younger students involved in a team sport and introduce them to the game of Basketball whilst having fun with their friends. If you would like to find out more about the Girton Games program please contact Mr Michael Robertson below.
