The Jones House Dinner took place on Tuesday the 16th of October, where members of Jones House, eager for a night of premature Christmas festivities, descended on the Bendigo Club. With the room decked out in white light, red tinsel and complimentary Christmas crackers, everyone truly embraced the spirit of the White Christmas theme; especially the House Tutor acts where each adhered to the theme, especially the Year 8 rendition of Aussie Jingle Bells, the Year 10’s humorous interpretation of ‘Hosanna Rock’ and the Year 12’s re-enactment of an iconic Mean Girls dance routine. The House was also lucky enough to witness a show stopping, mouth dropping duet of ‘Hallelujah’ by Lucas O’Brien and Connor Marshall, as well as a performance of ‘I Want it That Way’ by Gabe Thomas, Thomas Gregory and Owen Hams, everyone’s new favourite boy band. To top off the night the whole House joined together to give thanks to Mr McMillan, who was celebrating his 100th House Dinner as Tech Support and former Head of Millward House. Overall the night was thoroughly enjoyed and left everyone looking forward to next year.
